About the Cleaning Compliance Association

While many businesses operate with structure and care, there has historically been no shared standard to clearly define or distinguish professional practices.Without clear standards, the actions of informal operators can shape perceptions of the entire industry, including businesses that operate professionally and with documented systems. Certification exists to provide a way for businesses that want to distinguish their practices to do so through alignment with a defined professional standard and, when appropriate, certification.

The Cleaning Compliance Association (CCA) was created to address this gap. CCA is an independent standards and certification body that defines clear, practical expectations for residential and commercial cleaning businesses and provides a shared reference point for both businesses and the public.

By establishing recognizable standards and supporting ongoing alignment, CCA provides a clear reference point for professionalism, consistency, and accountability within the cleaning industry.
