Good cleaning isn’t what sets a company apart anymore.
How the business is run does.
Most cleaning businesses look the same from the outside.
The Cleaning Compliance Association (CCA) helps distinguish cleaning businesses that are structured, consistent, and professionally operated from those that are not.

Why CCA Exists
The Cleaning Compliance Association (CCA) exists to bring clarity, structure, and consistency to professional cleaning by establishing and maintaining the Cleaning Compliance Standard™ (CCS), a defined framework for documented operational practices. Certification helps to distinguish cleaning businesses with documented practices from informal cleaning businesses.
It is intended to serve as a tangible credential that may be presented during proposals or bidding processes to communicate structured, accountable operations.
Raising the Standard for Professional Cleaning, Together
Becoming a CCA member is required before applying for certification. Membership provides access to certification materials, standards guidance, and updates as standards evolve. Some businesses participate as members without pursuing certification, using membership as a professional reference point rather than a formal credential.
1.
Become a CCA member
Maintaining certification requires continued alignment with the Cleaning Compliance Standard. Yearly review helps support consistency over time and reflects an ongoing commitment to documented, professional operations.
2.
Apply for Certification
Certification involves a review of documented practices to assess alignment with the Cleaning Compliance Standard™. Applications are evaluated based on procedures, policies, and operational consistency at the time of review. Certification is available to active members but is not required to participate.
